How it works?

Hair growth occurs in three stages: anagen (growth), catagen (transitional), and telogen (resting). The Venus Velocity™ laser targets hair follicles in the anagen phase, when they are most responsive to treatment, as approximately 30% of hair is in this phase at any given time. The diode laser delivers energy to the hair follicle, where it is absorbed by the pigment, leading to the destruction of the follicle and permanent hair reduction. Multiple treatments are necessary due to the cyclic nature of hair growth.
